Farrux Zokirov (born 16.04.1946, Tashkent) is a pop singer and composer.

He studied at the Tashkent State Conservatory (1966-1969) and graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Culture (1999).
He was a solo singer for the Uzbek State Variety (1969-1971), an Honored Artist of Uzbekistan since 1971, a singer and artistic director of the "Yalla" ensemble (since 1976), and Deputy Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan since 2002.
Farrux Zokirov, possessing a soft and rich voice, relied on Uzbek national and modern pop traditions. He enriched the "Yalla" ensemble's repertoire with rearranged Uzbek folk lapar, yalla, and other songs ("Yo'l bo'lsin," "Yallama yorim," "G'ayra-g'ayra," "Xandalak," "Qilpillama," "Ganja qorabog'," and others), and also made a significant contribution to the emergence of the modern Uzbek "folk-pop" style based on national traditions. He performed arias by Mullado'st and Xidoyatxon from the opera "Maysaraning ishi" (S. Yudakov) in a pop style, and is also the author and performer of songs in many films ("Temir xotin," "Vodillik kelin," "Orzular og'ushida," "Maysaraning ishi," and others). He is the author of songs such as "Masxaraboz," "Tungi yulduz," "Sen bo'lmasang yonimda," "Boychechak," "Gazal," "Ruboiy," "Musiqiy choyxona," "Layli," "Majnuntol," "Lola," "Xayolimda bo'lding uzzu kun," "Uchquduq," "Shaxrisabz," and "O'zbekiston vatanim." He has promoted Uzbek pop art (with the "Yalla" ensemble) in almost all regions of the world. He is a laureate of the State Prize of Uzbekistan (1989) and was awarded the "Shuhrat" medal (1996).
